Appearance and copy

Every launcher, colour, panel, header, and visitor-facing string — and how the live preview works.

Open Dashboard → Appearance. Changes autosave. There is no publish button. The right-hand pane loads the real widget.js bundle against your draft.

Live visitor sites can lag up to 60 seconds while the public config cache refreshes. The preview does not.

Launcher#

Use the preview Open / Launcher toggle to inspect the closed bubble.

Colours#

Accent, panel background, text, user-bubble, border — hex + swatch. Presets: Formo Dark, Light, Midnight, Sand.

Panel#

Corner radius (0–24), width (360 / 400 / 440), height (520 / 620 / full), font size (S / M / L), font family (System / Inter / Geist / custom stack).

Header#

Show business name, optional 32px logo, subtitle text.

Open on load (off by default), optional proactive message + delay, “Powered by Formo” (removable on Plus only).

Advanced#

Custom CSS injected into the shadow root. Z-index override if a theme overlay covers the launcher.

Copy (every visitor-facing string)#

Welcome message · input placeholder · trust line · up to four suggested questions (reorderable) · escalation card heading and body · offline / over-cap message · dry-run notice · send-button label.
